Straight from STi in Japan, this Hood Scoop allows for greater cooling of the intercooler and just looks great. The scoop was designed to catch air that will otherwise flow over it at high speeds.This STI Hood Scoop is a direct replacement for the OEM hood scoop. It is much larger than the standard hood scoop but no modification of the hood or intercooler is necessary. Professionally painted with the highest quality DuPont Automotive paint. TWO layers are applied and a clear coat finishes off the production. Please note that the color is an exact match for some WRX's. There are some minor production differences from car to car resulting in VERY SLIGHT shade diferences. The vertical fins are left black purposefully to match the look on the STi version in Japan.
